November – Annual Convention/Conference with the theme:  Forward in faith through serving, learning and discipling (13 – 16 November)

10 Sunday -  focus on Remembrance Day Monday 11.11.19

13  Wednesday -  GR Stirling lecture, Tabor College 7.00pm  refreshments and 7.30pm with keynote speaker Bruce Hulme and students from Tabor - 181 Goodwood Road Millswood

14  – Thursday AGM CareWorks and celebration 6.45 pm refreshments and 7.30 pm start -the Mile End campus of the Western Communities Church - Danby Street, Mile End

15 Friday – Churches of Christ Conference Celebration evening – 7.30pm. Noarlunga C of C. 165 Beach Road Christies Beach – Speaker Matt Bird from Cinnamon Network with presentations from Balaklava and Aldgate Churches of Christ

16 Saturday – 9.00am  registration for 9.30am start. Aldgate Church of Christ  -  54 Strathalbyn Road, Aldgate.  A day of reflection, prayer, discussion, connecting, reviewing and the AGM  9.30 – 4.00pm Conference Reporting -  Conference review, Life Care, Building Extension Fund and Churches of Christ AGM’s, Communion.

23 Saturday – Movie night suitable for children of all ages. The Peanuts movie. 5.00pm start with nibbles and pizzas provided for a Church family tea. Film shown in the chapel on wide screen. Great time of fellowship and fun. All welcome.


13 Friday evening – Special FOCUS Christmas dinner for Focus International students at the Church (afternoon set up)

TBA – Sunday – 1.00 pm Church Christmas lunch celebration  (bring a salad to share – meat and dessert provided).

24 Tuesday Christmas Eve service (approx 45 mins) 7.00pm -  at the Church – whole community is welcome (AMI Fellowship has been advised and will not meet that evening)

25 Sunday – 1.00 pm  – Annual General Meeting preceded by light lunch at the Church (provided). This meting will deal with the election of officers, presentation of reports and general business. Matters of general business have been requested by the Board to be submitted before the AGM so that a considered response may be given.


Sunday – Fathers Day – First Sunday in the month

Clean Water Project September – Every $20 raised provides clean drinking water for one person overseas.


20 October 1928 – Foundation stone laid for the current chapel building of the Nailsworth Church

Sunday – Church Anniversary – picnic in the park from 12.15 for 12.30 pm lunch. (Pash Reserve) BYO everything after service. A thanksgiving celebration and all invited to bring along goods for CareWorks in support of their ministry or offer a financial donation via the offering.
